Entertain the kids, a big yes!

[:fr]When planning is in full swing, you have to make different decisions to finalize your wedding and have a day perfectly to your liking. We set up a schedule and determine all the little details we want to have on site. One of the questions I am often asked during our finalization meetings: what do we do with children? How do you manage it all?

My answer? Entertainment! You have to think about entertaining the children, keeping them busy and giving them a different idea so they can have fun too. As we know, a child wants to have fun. So we're offering them that! Here are our best games/entertainment options!

e prepare beautiful kits that we give to the children! Coloring books, wax pencils, small snacks, water bottle, tights and anything else you believe that could be adored by the kids on site. Of course, you have to think about the age of the different children! Set up different boxes depending on the age and you can identify them with the names of the guests to give them! A small bonus, you can also set up a children's table that will be designated to place all the invited children. It simplifies gift sets!

Board games

This option is ideal for children with babysitter or a little older. Even adults will love the idea! We create a table with lots of board game options. I advise you to bring the ones you have home, but also to ask your immediate entourage if they have any games they could bring. Aim for fast games, because we don't want guests to spend the evening playing either! Let the Catanias and Monopoly get home and aim for Tic Tac Toe, Snakes and Scales and maybe even puzzles.

Giant format games

Brides.com: . Play Wedding Games. When guests need a break from dancing, what's more fun than an interactive game? Options like bocce ball, oversized Jenga, and backgammon are fun ways to get your friends and family to interact with each other.

Well, this option can't be done everywhere, but it's highly appreciated! Giant jenga, inflatable games and so many beautiful options that are available to you. Do small Pinterest research if you lack inspiration and contact different game rental companies if you need to. There are even companies that offer giant versions games – like a pool table with balloons that you play with your feet. Extremely entertaining! Well, less for the kids, but entertaining anyway. For children, inflatable games are clearly the favorites. A big yes! Make sure you have permission from the room if it is a private place or a lot large enough if it is a home wedding.

No matter what option you take, I advise you to have the games open for a certain period – cocktail or during the meal (children's table games). It allows everyone to enjoy the dance party afterwards!

Yay!

Good planning,

Melanie[:]
